A word from the owner of George's Dog Boutique

Welcome to George’s Journal

I’m Marina, proud owner of George (my beloved dog) and George’s Dog Boutique.

The idea for George’s began in early 2022 when I started my City & Guilds grooming training. As a local Wimbledon Village resident, I often struggled to find grooming appointments for George. One thing led to another, and before I knew it, I had left my role at Michael Kors in franchise and buying to pursue my dream of opening an independent high street business.

After a long search, I secured our site in the Village and set about designing and planning the boutique and salon. On 1st December 2022, after months of hard work and anticipation, we proudly opened our doors.

From the very beginning, my goal has been to make George’s a destination for excellent dog care and beautiful dog products. Alongside our salon, we now also offer an online boutique where dog lovers across the UK can shop our carefully curated range of accessories, treats, and fashion.

Our team has grown since those early days, and I’m so grateful that our wonderful groomers who joined us at the start are still with us today. I spend as much time in the shop as possible, supporting the team — and of course, making sure George gets his regular pampering sessions.

We have exciting plans for the future, and we’re so proud to be part of the Village community. Thank you for trusting us with your dogs — it means the world. We look forward to many more years of caring for your four-legged family members.
