Shipping policy

All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

Please be aware that all our orders are packed by our in-store team in the Wimbledon Village boutique. We make every effort to prepare online orders as soon as possible but when the boutique is very busy, orders may take longer.

As a small business with a small team, we currently only ship to the UK.

We offer free shipping on UK orders over £65. All orders that don't meet this threshold will be subject to a £3.99 flat shipping fee to be paid at checkout.

If you have placed an order on a Sunday after midday, please bear in mind that we are closed on Mondays so we will only be able to prepare your order when the team is back in on Tuesday.

The salon

We created the salon with our beloved poodle George in mind.

Viewing windows through to the salon from the shop, a comfortable waiting area with sofas just for dogs and the highest quality materials and equipment… we wanted to provide our four-legged clients with a warm and welcoming environment focused on comfort and calm where all dogs can be themselves.

Our soft colours create a relaxing environment and we put extra care into keeping noise levels down in the salon to make the experience as easy going as we possibly could. With air conditioning, adjustable baths and tables, soft music, all natural products and endless toys to choose from, we believe a visit to the groomers should be one to look forward to each time.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is to offer a truly bespoke experience to every dog that comes to George’s. We know that one size really doesn’t fit all when it comes to grooming.

This is why we offer a complete consultation before we start any treatment so we fully understand your dog’s needs, likes, dislikes, special requests and styling requirements.

Every client is invited into the salon when they drop off their beloved dog for the first time so they can see the environment for themselves. We believe in transparency every step of the way and take every care to ensure our client satisfaction, both canine and human.

A spacious, relaxing space for dogs

Nestled in the heart of Wimbledon Village, it was important for us to create a space that fitted the area and matched the love that locals have for their dogs.

We worked with incredible designers to find the best materials and create a design that puts dogs at the centre of every decision we made. From pet-friendly plants to a dedicated relaxation area, our open plan salon ensures that each dog can settle in and feel at home when their parents drop them off.

We only use the highest quality products and equipment to ensure the highest level of care for every dog who has a treatment at George’s, whether it’s a mud bath, a facial or a full groom.

We only use the highest quality products in the salon. Not only are these products natural and cruelty free, we also let you choose for your dog.

Whether you’d like to select a specific scent or pick a specially formulated shampoo for senior dogs, puppies or dogs with sensitive skin (like George) we welcome you into the salon to see the range for yourself.

Every stage of the groom is done by hand

We don’t use drying cabinets or cages of any sort and we take all the time and care that we believe every dog deserves.

Our team is highly skilled at handling dogs with varying temperaments and we pride ourselves on working with nervous dogs to build their confidence back up if they’ve ever had a bad experience in the past.

Seeing our doggy clients pull their parents into George’s as they walk past is a true testament to the work we do to ensure they enjoy their time with us.
