Returning goods to George's Dog Boutique

  • We do not currently offer free returns. Please package your return up either in the original parcel or a suitable alternative and return to us with your chosen shipping method.
  • Make sure the items are in their original clean, unused or unworn condition (with tags or labels in place).
  • Send the items back within 30 days of receiving them (unless you have bought within our extended Christmas returns period)
  • Please use the delivery note to give us feedback on what went wrong. If you do not have this, kindly write your order number and note on a piece of paper. 
  • To send back, if possible recycle the original shipper - you can just re-label it. Please note we do not offer free returns. 
  • The returns address will also be on the label on your delivery note: George's Dog Boutique, Wimbledon Village, 28 High Street, SW19 5BY, London.
  • Parcels that are returned to us remain your responsibility and a refund will not be given until we have received them. We recommend you send your returns using a recorded or signed for service post and that you retain proof of postage. 
  • You will receive a confirmation email as soon as your return has been processed. This may take up to 2 weeks and a refund usually takes 3 working days to appear on your bank statement after it has been processed. 

How George's Dog Boutique handles returns

First off, we will let you know when we have received and approved your return. 

For a refund we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Rejection will only apply if the items are damaged. If approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Card refunds can take up to 10 working days depending on your bank's processing time – please note that we are unable to influence this.

If you haven’t received a refund, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. If you’ve done all of this and you’ve still not received your refund, please contact us (see below).

Extended Christmas Returns

We operate an extended returns policy over Christmas. Any full price items ordered from 1st December onward can be refunded up until 15th January of the subsequent year.

How George's Dog Boutique handles faulty goods:

We are really proud of the quality of the products we stock and will be very sorry if we find any faults. If there are any faults please send photos to customercare@georgesdogboutique.com explaining the fault so that we can rectify this for you. 

VAT

We do not charge VAT on orders delivered to a country where they are exempt. You will notice at checkout and on your confirmation email that the VAT calculation is £0. For this reason as no tax is charged, tax cannot be reclaimed to those VAT exempt countries.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is to offer a truly bespoke experience to every dog that comes to George’s. We know that one size really doesn’t fit all when it comes to grooming.

This is why we offer a complete consultation before we start any treatment so we fully understand your dog’s needs, likes, dislikes, special requests and styling requirements.

Every client is invited into the salon when they drop off their beloved dog for the first time so they can see the space for themselves. We believe in transparency every step of the way and take every care to ensure our client satisfaction, both canine and human.

A spacious, relaxing space for dogs

Nestled in the heart of Wimbledon Village, it was important for us to create a space that fitted the area and matched the love that locals have for their dogs.

We worked with incredible designers to find the best materials and create a design that puts dogs at the centre of every decision we made. From pet-friendly plants to a dedicated relaxation area, our open plan salon ensures that each dog can settle in and feel at home when their parents drop them off.

We only use the highest quality products and equipment to ensure the highest level of care for every dog who has a treatment at George’s, whether it’s a mud bath, a facial or a full groom.

We only use the highest quality products in the salon. Not only are these products natural and cruelty free, we also let you choose for your dog.

Whether you’d like to select a specific scent or pick a specially formulated shampoo for senior dogs, puppies or dogs with sensitive skin (like George) we welcome you into the salon to see the range for yourself.

Every stage of the groom is done by hand

We don’t use drying cabinets or cages and we take all the time and care that we believe every dog deserves.

Our team is highly skilled at handling dogs with varying temperaments and we pride ourselves on working with nervous dogs to build their confidence back up if they’ve ever had a bad experience in the past.

Seeing our doggy clients pull their parents into George’s as they walk past is a true testament to the work we do to ensure they enjoy their time with us.

If your four-legged companion feels a little nervous or had an unpleasant experience in the past, we believe in taking the time to work with them to help make grooming a normal part of their routine, free of stress.
